ELSI Expert Platform

For a responsible health research infrastructure

Health RI provides a vision and agenda for a national research infrastructure for Personalized Medicine & Health. How to incorporate and address issues and concerns over themes such as privacy, scientific integrity, patient and public participation and engagement, and the ongoing integration of research and care?

Set up by BBMRI-NL and Federa-COREON, the ELSI Expert Platform (also called Health (R)RI) aims to provide a platform for responsible health research infrastructure: a stage and network for debate and reflection on ethical, legal and societal issues and concerns. In a series of public meetings, the platform gives voice to discussion on topical concerns in relation to emerging developments in health research infrastructure. Themes to be raised include specific topical issues, developments in policy and legislation, and the research agenda for ethical, legal and societal issues. We seek to engage both researchers, professionals and policymakers, as well as others involved in ethical, legal and societal aspects pertaining to health research infrastructure.
