Biobanks and Biomedical Collections PDF Afdrukken

Strasbourg, 19 and 20 June - "Biobanks and Biomedical Collections – An Ethical Framework for Future Research" is the full title of this symposium, organized by the Health and Bioethics division of the Council of Europe. The objective of the symposium is to provide a basis for the re-examination of the Council of Europe Recommendation (2006)4 on research on biological materials of human origin. Speakers include Professor Kurt Zatloukal, chairman of BBMRI Europe, Professor Bartha Knoppers and Professor Graeme Laurie. Registration forms can be requested from bioethics.biobanks@coe.net. Genomics in health and disease - Towards personal genomics PDF Afdrukken

The 2012 NCMLS New Frontiers symposium aims at highlighting the advances in genomics in various biomedical research fields, as well as its implications in the clinic.
