Education
What is BBMRI-NL’s Education program ‘Slimme Stappen in eigen Onderzoek’?
‘Slimme Stappen in eigen Onderzoek‘ is an education program to stimulate scientific thinking in high school students. It consists of an interactive manual, instruction videos and an Excel training to teach high school students the first steps of dealing with data files and how to conduct scientific research projects.
Why BBMRI-NL’s Education program?
The roadmap has been developed to clarify the start, design and execution phases of research projects. Doing research is an important part of the mandatory school research project high school students do at the end of their program (‘profielwerkstuk’). However, they do not yet know much about how to come up with a research project and where to start.
Intended users
The roadmap is meant for ‘vwo-scholieren’ that are at the start of their mandatory school research project.
Using BBMRI-NL’s BBMRI-NL’s roadmap
The roadmap is developed in Dutch, since its target group consists of Dutch high school students. Take a look at the interactive manual and accompanying instruction videos (in Dutch) on how to start.
